Manuel Musto : ウィキペディア英語版
Manuel Musto
Manuel Musto was an impressionist painter. Born September 16, 1893 in Rosario, Argentina. Disciple of Ferrucio Pagni at the ''Academia Fomento de las Artes''. In 1914 Musto travels to Florence, Italy with Augusto Schiavonni, another representative of the Fine Arts in the Rosario. Soon after knowing of his father's death Musto returns to Argentina only to resume his travels shortly thereafter completing his learning experience in Italy. His style as a painter is very much influenced by the Italian School of the 19th century, bucolic scenes of the country side, life in the fields, flowers... The bulk of his work is part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Fine Arts in Rosario. The house where he resided is today home of the art school that honors his legacy and name. Manuel Musto died at age 47 on September 12, 1940.
